What is flat spotting?
When the weight of a vehicle is left on its tyres and it is stationary for long periods of time, the contact patch of the tyre can flatten where it is in contact with the ground leading to the tyre deforming slightly. The next time you drive, you may notice a slight ride disturbance or vibration, sometimes intensified with increased speed.
This is known as flat spotting and is especially likely to occur when the tyres experience a significant swing in ambient temperatures, for instance when the vehicle is parked overnight in cold temperatures or the vehicle is in storage for a long time.
How do TyreDox work?
TyreDox has a clever, integral curve to increase the spread and support of load on your tyres evenly over an enhanced surface area, preventing potential flat-spots and ovalisation.
With its large surface area and rubber-to-rubber composition, TyreDox avoids premature perishing and cracking, to deliver enhanced protection and longevity
Are TyreDox suitable for all vehicles?
In short, yes, TyreDox are suitable for all cars, vehicles and trailers.
The smart, recycled rubber construction has a natural ‘give’, enabling TyreDox to accommodate wheel diameters from 14” up to 23”. With a generous 14” width too, TyreDox is designed to cope with almost all non-commercial vehicles, so long as they fall under the ‘two or four’ wheel category.
How Long do TyreDox last?
A set of TyreDox can last for up to 40 years when used correctly. The materials and manufacturing processes are traditionally found in the creation of products such as speed bumps, which are exposed to daily impact from vehicles in all manner of weather conditions. It’s easy then to see why TyreDox are built to last.
What makes TyreDox Environmentally friendly?
TyreDox has a 95% recycled crumb rubber tyre composition, which we think is kind of cool given the application. Our packaging is recycled too, created to have minimal impact on the environment.
Do I need to leave my handbrake on?
TyreDox is designed with a raised backstop, enabling your car to be stored without engaging the handbrake, when stored on a flat gradient with a relatively secure and even surface. This reduces the risk of seized handbrake calipers and prolongs the safety and efficiency of your handbrake system and cables.

Our goal is simple
To help optimise your storage, enabling you to enjoy your vehicle at any time without the inconvenience or the worry of additional or unnecessary extra costs.
Flat spotted tyres, degraded batteries and pest damage are all factors which might be overlooked when storing classic and prestige vehicles or motorhomes for prolonged periods.
