Really impressed with the quality and design. Initially concerned about the weight at +7kg each, but they’re far superior to the cheap plastic and foam alternatives. Size wise they’re just about perfect for the GT4 rear tyres at almost 12” wide. I went for 4 original, so have to remove a pair from one axle to use the car. I plan to only use them under one axle for back stop/positioning the car in the garage when in use and then all 4 when in storage. Only time will tell if they actually prevent flat spotting and how durable they are.
Preferred the Tyredox, arrived very quickly, lined them up and drove the car on. Took a couple of goes to make sure all lined up but fairly easy to use! Love them- was always a little concerned about the cars tyres and now I don't have to fret!!
After reading about flat spotting I decided to take a look at the marketplace to see what’s available. Most of the product available originates from China so I immediately dismissed it. I came across TyreDox and lo and behold a British company supplying a product made in England - a no brainer. A little more expensive but you get what you pay for and I am not disappointed with both the quality and design of TyreDox. I’ve just ordered a car cover for my MG Midget to protect it throughout the winter months.

I had been thinking about buying something similar for a while now, but when I came across these I had found exactly what I was looking for.
My garage, like many in modern homes is particularly short, and so my E Type Jaguar needs precision parking to enable me to close the door. Apart from other benefits these are reassuringly heavy and locate the car exactly every time I park.

Got these about a week ago and I can honestly say they are brilliant because my RS6 is my absolute pride and joy it only comes out in good weather so it stays in the garage a lot of the time and having these pads saves a massive amount on tyres I would recommend everyone who does the same to get some of thses they are brilliant

I cannot show you the tyre savers under the Holden at this time, as I will wait for a dry day to bring the car out of the garage and put it back on the flat spot savers. That said I am impressed with the weight and feel of the "Dox", I know they will perfect and will not slide as I drive on to them.

Being made from rubber, they grip the floor surface really well which makes it very easy to place them and ensures they stay put whil placing the car on them.
I ordered the TyreDox Original option which I am very happy with.
However, if ordering again I would go for the Dual Ramp option as it would suit my garage space better.

What is flat spotting?
When the weight of a vehicle is left on its tyres and it is stationary for long periods of time, the contact patch of the tyre can flatten where it is in contact with the ground leading to the tyre deforming slightly. The next time you drive, you may notice a slight ride disturbance or vibration, sometimes intensified with increased speed.
This is known as flat spotting and is especially likely to occur when the tyres experience a significant swing in ambient temperatures, for instance when the vehicle is parked overnight in cold temperatures or the vehicle is in storage for a long time.

Do I need to leave my handbrake on?
TyreDox is designed with a raised backstop, enabling your car to be stored without engaging the handbrake, when stored on a flat gradient with a relatively secure and even surface. This reduces the risk of seized handbrake calipers and prolongs the safety and efficiency of your handbrake system and cables.
