Our Story
Our Journey and the beginnings of TyreDox
During our time as technicians, we saw that customers were regularly replacing expensive tyres, despite little use and often with modest mileage.
With less than optimum tyre storage or protection and a potential lack of regular movement, tyres were found to be misshapen, with signs of ovulation and perishing of their structure.
Having researched existing solutions, we were surprised to find that they were sometimes expensive, often poorly designed and occasionally plain ineffective. We felt a fresh approach was needed.
By applying smart design, appropriate material technology and a practical '“hands on” understanding of the issues this led to the creation of TyreDox, the professional’s choice.
The need for TyreDox.
To help optimise your vehicle storage, enabling you to enjoy it’s use at any time without the inconvenience of replacement or the worry of additional or unnecessary extra costs.
Flat spotted tyres, degraded batteries and pest damage are all factors which might be overlooked when storing classic and prestige vehicles or motorhomes for prolonged periods.
Our goal is simple

My passion and love for cars began from a very early age, which led me to the automotive repair industry at the age of 17. I passed all of my qualifications in France and once fully qualified my attention turned to classic cars and to the UK’s larger and more developed classics industry.
My particular love is for classic Aston Martins and as such, I set out to find a small business specialising in the marque.
I now consider myself very fortunate to have accrued 6 years of Aston Martin experience at two of the most highly regarded Aston Martin specialists in the world.
This experience also led to me becoming the youngest senior AMOC concours judge in history.

I have been religiously attending automotive events for as long as I can remember, having had a love of cars from a very early age. After my first-year at university I discovered it was not for me and left to enrol onto a heritage engineering course as an Aston Martin Specialist. This was definitely where I was meant to be!
Now nearing the end of a 3-and-a-half-year apprenticeship, my passion for all things automotive has continued to grow exponentially and I hope to stay a part of this special community of enthusiasts and specialists for many years to come.
